Business Idea Competition of Bhutan 2012
Bhutan Innovation and Technology Centre (BITC) at Thimphu TechPark is pleased to announce that it is conducting a nationwide Business Idea Competition called ‘Business Idea Competition of Bhutan 2012’with the support of Department of IT and Telecom, MoIC and World Bank, to encourage and promote innovators and entrepreneurs and raise awareness on innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.
Therefore, BITC invites everyone having innovative ideas and a desire to take up entrepreneurship as a career choice to send in entries for the ‘Business Idea Competition of Bhutan 2012’ latest by Sunday, 17 June 2012. Your ideas will be protected and treated confidentially.

Invitation of quotations for operating College Canteen

Applications are invited from interested Bhutanese nationals for operating the CST Wet Canteen from 1st July 2012. The details terms and conditions are attached herewith. Bidders are requested to carefully go through these terms and conditions before applying.
Bidders should possess the necessary means, capacity and confidence to run the canteen on a standard and sustainable basis.

Taba Dromtoe Community School (located in remote part of Samtse Dzongkhag) is in need of clothes (gho and kira) for 35 girls and 45 boys. The letter from the head of the school is with Sonam Tshering. CST kuenphen Tshogpa is trying to donate clothes for 20 students and is planning to get some sponsors for the rest as they do not have enough cash to buy for all the students. These students are from really poor backgrounds and are in dire need of these clothes. So any interested people who want to sponsor or donate are most "WELCOME" ...Read More

Research & Training Network (RTN) is one of the Components of SASEC IH (South Asia Sub-regional Economic Cooperation International Highway) project funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB). Royal University of Bhutan(RUB) is chosen as to carry out the RTN project and therefore, two Colleges were selected as a RTC's (Research & Training Centers) viz. College of Science and Technology (CST) & Sherubtse College.
